The Beaches of Grand Cayman Island

The Cayman Islands are world-renowned for their beaches, not the least is Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach, recently named “the Caribbean’s Best Beach” by Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine. The Grandview’s condos are located at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, just minutes from Georgetown.

The white sugary sand, turquoise water and beautiful sunsets of Grand Cayman Island’s beaches are the perfect setting for your dream vacation. The waters surrounding the island are always clear and warm. Visibility is often 100 to 150 feet with little current, and water temperature ranges from 78°F to 80° in winter and 82°F to 86° in summer.

Seven Mile Beach

Seven Mile Beach is the most popular and populated beach on Grand Cayman, as well as the most beautiful. It is bustling with resorts, bars, hotels, restaurants of all flavors, a fish market, beach volleyball, cinemas, golf courses, mini-golf, and much more. Yet the beach also has plenty of family-oriented playgrounds, free clean washrooms, and picnic areas away from crowds. Parking is no problem along the beach.

As well as coral sand and azure water, Seven Mile Beach is also home to water-sports shops and every imaginable kind of water sport. With Cemetery Reef lying just offshore, the water is calm and excellent for snorkeling, swimming and lazing in the sun.
